# Timestamp — Schweizer Zeiterfassung für Unternehmen

> Timestamp is Swiss time-tracking software for companies of any size. Employees
> clock in and out on a wall-mounted tablet with a six-digit PIN — no login, no
> password, no account per employee. Target hours vs. actual hours are compared
> in real time, monthly reports export to PDF, Excel and CSV, and the recorded
> data satisfies the Swiss statutory duty to record working time under Art. 46
> of the Swiss Labour Act (ArG). All data is hosted in a data centre in Zurich,

## What it does

- **Tablet kiosk**: one shared device at the entrance or staff room. Each
  employee clocks in and out with a personal six-digit PIN.
- **Target vs. actual hours**: weekly target hours are set per employee;
  overtime and undertime accumulate on a running time account.
- **Export**: PDF (one page per person, for printing and signing), Excel (one
  sheet per person, numbers stored as numbers), CSV (for payroll software).
- **Leave and absences**: employees request holiday or time-off compensation on
  the tablet; approval is one click and recalculates the leave balance.
- **Shift planning**: a standard week per person, or the next plan for the whole
  team in one pass, with templates for Swiss part-time percentages.
- **Apprentices and school days**: school days are registered once and credited
  automatically as working time without anyone clocking in.
- **Cantonal public holidays**: derived from the company address; cantonal
  holidays apply only in the cantons where they are observed.
- **Manual correction**: a missed clock-out is corrected in two clicks. Every
  correction stays documented and auditable.
- **Data import**: existing team lists, part-time percentages and balances are
  read from Excel, CSV, PDF or a photo of a printed roster, then confirmed.
- **Integrations**: bexio payroll absence sync, plus a REST API at
  api.swissapp.io for badge readers, payroll software and custom scripts.

## Compliance

- Fulfils the duty to record working time under **Art. 46 ArG** (Swiss Labour
  Act), including break times, recorded as session interruptions.
- Five-year retention per **Art. 73 ArGV 1**.
- Compliant with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (**revDSG**) and the EU
  **GDPR**: data minimisation, purpose limitation and right of access.
- Hosted in a Swiss data centre in Zurich. Encrypted in transit, strictly
  separated per customer, never passed to third parties.
- No analytics cookies, no advertising trackers.

## Pricing

Per employee per month, in CHF, excluding VAT. Every tier contains the full
feature set; only the number of employees changes the rate.

- **Starter** — 1–15 employees — CHF 2.99 per employee/month, no minimum
- **Growth** — 16–50 employees — CHF 2.29 per employee/month, minimum CHF 45/month
- **Scale** — 51–100 employees — CHF 1.99 per employee/month, minimum CHF 115/month
- **Enterprise** — from 101 employees — CHF 1.69 per employee/month, minimum CHF 199/month

A card is registered at sign-up, the first charge falls after the 14-day free
trial, and the subscription is cancellable monthly.
